戴爾退出 微軟WinRT前景堪慮

微軟推出支援ARM架構的WinRT作業系統，但支援的應用程式少，招來負面評價，據了解，戴爾內部近期已悄悄終止WinRT平板開發案，決議不再銷售RT平板，再加上華碩、三星的WinRT平板銷售也疲弱，微軟WinRT策略堪稱慘敗。

不過，戴爾平板策略仍屬意重壓Win8，下半年將推出8吋的Win8小平板。再加上先前也有意推出Win8小尺寸平板華碩、聯想，下半年將炒熱市場。

微軟去年發表Win8時，推出了兩大類作業系統，分別是支援傳統X86架構的Win8，以及首度支援ARM架構處理器的WinRT，不料，第一波推出WinRT平板的品牌廠，三星、戴爾、華碩全敗興而歸，戴爾、華碩均降價出售其WinRT平板，連微軟自己都得認列高額Surface平板的庫存損失。

而三星、華碩對下一代WinRT平板的開發也意興闌珊，目前僅剩諾基亞有意推出，微軟以往看好的WinRT大軍幾乎已等同宣告潰散。
