Samsung Galaxy 系列手機今年多災多難，數個型號都出現燒機或爆炸事件，而且由高階的 Galaxy Note 7 至中階的 A9 都出現問題，但這似乎未有減低 Samsung 開發新機的決心。

日前有外國媒體報導指，Samsung 正在開發 Galaxy A9 (2017 版)，現時所知的是這個 Galaxy A9 的型號為 SM-A9200。

但是規格方面，暫時沒有任何資料提供得到。而早前 Galaxy A9 也出現炸機事件，希望 Samsung 能在這個 2017 年版的手機順道解決這個嚴重問題。
